All rooms in the Grasmere House Hotel have en suite facilities and all the modern comforts you would expect. There are 4 rooms that are fitted with luxurious four-poster beds, while all are equally well furnished, some with extra pull-out beds to provide triple and quadruple family accommodation. A further 5 rooms are discreetly arranged for disabled guests and graded by the ETB. A 3-bedroom family sized apartment with separate lounge and 2 bathrooms is also available. |

There is never a shortage of things to do in Salisbury or the wider area of Wiltshire, where some of the country's most important heritage sites can be found - including, Old Sarum and the ancient stone circles of Stonehenge and Avebury.
Salisbury has a racecourse with regular meetings and there is a wealth of excellent shops, museums and restaurants around the town. Salisbury Cathedral with its majestic spire can be seen from Grasmere House and is just a short walk away.
Wiltshire is also the home of some of the grandest stately homes and gardens - Wilton House, Longleat and Broadlands; or on a smaller scale, Avebury Manor and Mompesson House which is in the Cathedral Close. |

By Car:
From the M3:
- Exit onto the A303.
- Exit the A303 via the A343/A30, following signs for Salisbury/Middle Wallop.
- Alternatively, you can continue on the A303 and take the A345 sign posted Amesbury/Salisbury.
- When you arrive in Salisbury, follow directions for Southampton (A36) and then towards Blandford (A354).
- Filter left at the junction after Southampton Road, then move into the right-hand lane in preparation to turn right at the traffic lights onto New Harnham Road.
- Carry on past the church on the right.
- The hotel entrance is approximately 40 metres on the right.
From the M4:
- Exit onto the A34 towards Newbury/Andover/Southampton.
- Leave the A34 via the A303 towards Andover and follow directions as above.
By Train:
Salisbury is on the Waterloo/Exeter main line; travelling time from Waterloo is approximately 1.5 hours. The Grasmere Hotel is situated about 3.2 km (2 miles) from the station. |
