This Silver Award guest house is situated in an elegant Edwardian house in Salisbury, where you will find warm family hospitality, attentive service and a friendly atmosphere.
Rokeby Guest House is set within half an acre of landscaped gardens that features an ornamental fish pond and fountain. This warm and friendly family bed and breakfast is run by Karen and Mark Rogers who strive to give it the sort of personal attention that creates a friendly atmosphere. The Rokeby is fully licensed, and features a bright conservatory area where you can enjoy a hearty full English breakfast each morning. During summer months, you can enjoy a barbecue before lazing in the gardens.
From the guest house you are only a 10 minute stroll from Salisbury Cathedral and 8 miles away from Stonehenge. Bath and the beaches of Bournemouth are only an hour's drive away.

Stonehenge (10.6 miles/ 17 km)- visit the ancient site of this Neolithic monument, a UNESCO world heritage site since 1986.
Salisbury Cathedral (1 mile/ 1.6 km)- this medieval cathedral is home to the tallest church spire in the UK (404 feet/ 123 metres), the largest cloister in England and one of 4 surviving original copies of the Magna Carta.
Longleat (27.4 miles/ 44 km)- the house of Lord Bath, widely regarded as the best example of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain. Alternatively, the whole family will enjoy the safari park, home to over 500 animals.
Bath (42.1 miles/ 67.8 km)- the city of Georgian stone crescents, founded around the only naturally occurring hot springs in the UK. |

From the train station:
- Exit onto South Western Road and turn left onto Fisherton Street.
- Continue onto Bridge Street then turn right onto New Canal Street.
- Continue onto Milford Street then Milford Hill until end.
- Branch off to the left onto Laverstock Road.
- Turn left onto Wessex Road, continue till end and turn left onto Wain-A-Long Road, where you will find the hotel.
By car from the A30 motorway:
- At the roundabout on London Road turn left (1st exit) onto Wain-A-Long Road. |
